Once it reaches our office we do use virus and spyware programs for client safety and access to the computers is password controlled. Still, there is no way to guarantee anything transmitted via computer.
Our office policies include locked file cabinets, password protected computers, and burglar alarms – still we cannot guarantee confidentiality from those who bypass these measures. We do work to keep our office HIPPA compliant even though our office hasn’t triggered the HIPPA requirement for compliance.
